Funeral services were held today for Severt Terkelson, 70, town of Manitowoc Rapids farmer, who died Saturday.
Services were held at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon from the Berge funeral home at Valders and at 2 o'clock from the Gjerpen Lutheran Church. The Rev. Martin Trygstad officiated and burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Surviving Mr. Terkelson are his widow, whom he married June 25, 1902, a daughter, Mrs. Maurice Goehring of Sheboygan, a son, Sherman of Milwaukee, two brothers, Peter of Manitowoc Rapids and Otto of Tigerton and four grandchildren.
Mr. Terkelson was born in Rapids May 15, 1871, and except for several years during which he served as a guard at the Wisconsin State Prison at Waupun, he spent his entire life in Rapids.
