Syvert Terkelson, a pioneer resident of the town of Rapids, died at his home in that township yesterday, aged 60 years.
He was one of the most widely known men of that section and his death will be generally regretted.
The funeral will be held at 12 o'clock next Wednesday under the auspices of the Gjerpen society, of which the deceased was a leading member.
