OLAF THONE

Olaf Thone, 77, pioneer of town of Cato resident, died Friday night at the family home at Clarks Mills after having suffered a stroke.

Mr. and Mrs. Thone celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on January 29th.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Berge funeral home at Valders and at 2 o'clock at the Gjerpen Lutheran church, the Rev. E. A. Fretheim officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Thone is survived by the widow, five daughters, Mrs. Emma Miller of Oconto, Mrs. Lillie Olson of Clover, Mrs. Peter Robley of Clarks Mills, Mrs. Gladys Anderson of Manitowoc and Mrs. Ruth Korstad of Valders; three sons, Ray and Gordon of the town of Cato and Orin of Oconto, and 36 grandchildren.

The body will lie in state at the Berge funeral home from Sunday until the hour of the funeral on Tuesday.
