Mr. Jacob Ahola, 85 died at his home at 132 N. Main St., Spencer, N.Y., Monday, July 1st at 10:45 following a long illness. He is survived by 3 sons, Arthur Ahola of Newfield, N.Y.; Matthew Ahola of Spencer, N.Y. and Edward Ahola of Waterloo, N.Y. Three daughters Mrs. Hilda Ryder of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Marie Wiita of Spencer, and Mrs. Lydia Mackie of Spencer, N.Y. Two sisters, Mrs. Minna Hill of Lead, South Dakota and Mrs. Hanna Salonmaa of Finland, eight grand-children and eight great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was a Charter member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Spencer N.Y., Funeral services will be held at the St. Paul's Luther Church, Spencer on Friday, July 5 at 1:00 p.m. Officiating Clergyman, Rev. Karlo Keljo of Brooklyn New York, and Pastor Dale Gregorieu of Corning, N.Y., Pastor of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Spencer, N.Y. Interment will be Evergreen Cemetery, Spencer, N.Y. Friends may call at the Allen Funeral Home in Spencer, N.Y., Wednesday and Thursday evening 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
