George"Stu"Beaulieu, 81, husband of Phyllis M. (Durell) Beaulieu, died on Christmas Day, in Beverly Hospital.
Born in Beverly, he was the son of the late George and Blanche(Bouchard)Beaulieu. Graduated from Beverly High School in 1935.

Served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He reached the rank of chief boatswain mate.(E-9) He retired from the military on Feb 14, 1977.
He retired from working at GCA and Avco. He was a member the U.S. Naval Reserves Assoc., the Herman A. Spear Post,the American Legion and a member of St. Alphonsus Parish,Danvers.
He also worked for St.John's Prep School in Danvers, and the Commodore restaurant and the former Klink's Bakery, both in Beverly.

Besides his wife, he leaves a son, George Norman "Britt" Beaulieu of Smithville, N.J. and his daughter-in-law, Janet Beaulieu; a brother, Andrew Beaulieu of Clearwater, Fls.; two sisters, Beatrice Connelly of Largo, Fla. and Loretta Rochinski of Boxford; grandchildren, Jamie Johnson and Kristen Morse; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Louis "Chick" Beaulieu.
Funeral mass at St. Alphonsus Church, #Elliott St. Danvers. Burial in Central Cemetery, Beverly.
