BERKLEY–Anthony A. "Teddy" Nascimento, 85 years old, died in his home. on Saturday evening, March 10, 2012. Born in Taunton son of the late Joseph and Maria (Neves) Nascimento. He was a communicant of St Anthony's Church and was educated in Taunton Schools. For over 30 years he was employed as a cutter and press operator at the former New Jersey Rubber Company and for 15 years he was the custodian at BWI Cable Company in Dighton. Teddy was a man who enjoyed being with the animals at his farm. He was a member of the PACC and he was an avid Boston Bruins and Red Sox fan. He was a resident of Berkley for the past 37years coming from Taunton. Teddy was the husband for over 63 years of Jeanette (Rose) Nascimento. He is the father of Debra Fernandes of Plymouth, Corrine Copeland and her husband Jonathan of Lakeville, Valerie Fulton-Chapman and her husband Howard Chapman of Berkley, Jennifer Turnbull and her husband Robert of Dighton and he was the father of the late Anthony A. Nascimento, Jr. Teddy is also the very special father-in-law of A. Michael Fernandes of Berkley. He is the grandfather of Sarah Fulton, Amanda Copeland, Aimee Fernandes, Aaron Fernandes and his wife Amie, Alex Copeland, Vanessa Copeland, Hope Turnbull and Robert Turnbull, III. and is the great grand father of six. He is the brother of Charles Agrella of Acushnet and the late Joseph Nascimento, John Agrella, Mary Silva, Dolores Gay, and Laurinda Figueiredo. Teddy is also the brother-in-law and uncle of several. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St Anthony's Church at 10 AM on Thursday.
