He was born on April 14, 1941, in Mishawaka, Ind.
Gene moved to Arizona when he retired in 2001 to be near his sister Cathy Heiner and brother-in-law George Heiner.
Gene was an accomplished drummer and loved his travels in Mexico.
He will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him. Gene will be remembered as a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend.
