Mrs. Jane Howell Bailey, 93, life long resident of the High Hill vicinity, died this morning at 10:30 o'clock at her home following a lingering illness.
She was the widow of John Bailey, who died several years ago, and was a member of the Salem Methodist church.
Surviving are two sons, George H. Bailey of West Taylor street and Howard Howell of Uniontown, O.; a daughter, Mrs. Cliff Ratliffe of Maysville ave.; 11 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Tom funeral home in Cumberland, where it will remain until Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock when services will be held at the Ark Springs Baptist church. Rev. Robert Zinemeister, pastor of the Chandlersville Methodist church will officiate. Burial will be in the Ark Springs cemetery.
