WHEATLAND - Funeral services for Marlys E. Fluharty, 54, will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at First Christian Church in Wheatland with Pastor Andy Gudahl officiating.
She died May 12, 2007, at her home at Wheatland.
She was born May 2, 1954, in Saint Cloud, Minn., the daughter of Alphonse and Evelyn (Borash) Janski. She was reared and educated at Royalton, Minn.; graduating in 1972 from Royalton High School.
On March 28, 1972, she married Michael G. "Mike" Fluharty and they lived in Sisseton, S.D.; and Rice, Minn.
In 1976 they moved to Colstrip, Mont.; and in March of 1979 to Wheatland.
She always worked in the food service business. She was a member of Women of the Moose and loved all types of animals and crafts.
Survivors include her husband of Wheatland; father of Royalton, Minn.; three children, Shane Fluharty and Stuart Fluharty, both of Gillette and Cory Meyer of Cheyenne; six siblings, Robert Janski of Rice, Minn., Ralph Janski of Sartell, Minn., Doreen Harrington of Little Canada, Minn., Don Janski of Royalton, Minn., Jeannie Morgan of Little Falls, Minn., and Ed Janski of Royalton, Minn.; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother, Richard Janski.
Memorials to the Meredith and Jeannie Ray Cancer Center, 255 North 30th Street, Laramie, 82072 would be appreciated by the family.
