Ruth Annette Clark, age 53, of Harrison, passed away Sunday, August 7, at her residence. She was born April 14, 1935, in Lincoln and was the daughter of William and Grace (Byce) Johnson. Mrs. Clark lived in the Harrison area for the last twenty years, moving here from Allegan. She belonged to the First Baptist church of Harrison. Ruth A. Clark was united in marriage to Allen Clark on June 28, 1952. Surviving are her husband Allen of Harrison, one son Mark and wife Kathy of Gladwin; three daughters, Lynn Clark of Merritt, Judy Birth and Sandy Curns of Harrison. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, six brothers, Bernard of Chicago, Wilbur of Houston, Texas, Dale of Harrisville, Raymond of Harrison and Wayne and Billy of Louisville, Kentucky, four sisters, Elsie Monville of Mikado, Mrs. Katherine Fox of Harrisville, Mrs. Clara Daniels of Cedar Springs, and Nancy Nutt of Hubbard Lake. She is also survived by a special friend, Dottie Jackson. Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 10, 1988 at 11:00 a.m. from the Stocking Funeral Home, in Harrison, with Pastor Bob Steward officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Plains Cemetery, Harrison.
