MARKS, Mrs. Ernestine F. Campbell - Age 87, of Frankenmuth passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2000 at St. Mary Hospital in Saginaw. Funeral Service will be held 11AM Saturday, August 5, 2000 at the First Baptist Church of Mt. Morris, Pastor Richard Cook officiating. Burial at Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday 6-9PM, 9AM-9PM Friday and Saturday morning Mrs. Marks will be taken to church to lie in state from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Ernestine was a loving mother, grandmother, and "Grama Great". She was born July 3, 1913 in Richfield Twp. the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil and Myrtle Mathews. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mt. Morris. Ernestine retired from AC. She was a generous caring and loving person who loved to write and wrote many stories. She moved to the Clare area where she owned a business and 2 lakes, one of which was named after her. She gave many happy memories to all her grandchildren. Mrs. Marks moved to Frankenmuth in 1985. Survivors include: 3 children, Jean and Donald McPherson of Mt. Morris, Robert and Joanne Campbell of Davison, Patrick and Judith Campbell of Nixon, MO; 16 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; special friend, Walter; sister, Norma Parsons; brother, Harvey Mathews. She was preceded in death by her son, James Campbell; daughter, Helen Campbell; 1st husband, Robert Campbell and 2nd husband, John Marks. Arrangements by Miles Martin Funeral Home, Mt.
