She was born on Jul 19, 1937 in Reedsburg, the daughter of Bernard William and Irene Pearl (Sanders) Abbs. Bernadine enjoyed her grandchildren, farmsteading, traveling, gardening, watching and feeding the birds.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Victor W. Abbs; sister, Virginia D. (Abbs) Clapper.
She is survived by her children: Bernard E.(Nancy)Walsh of Merrill, Katherine T. Gruett of Merrill, Kevin D. Walsh of Elroy, Raymonda M.(Bill) Blank of Lyndon Station, Timothy M. Walsh of Elroy, Lisa M. (Jerry) Burckhardt of Sauk City, Thomas C. Roundy of Grand Rapids, MI and David H. Roundy of Grand Rapids, MI; eight grandchildren: Jacob Walsh, Dustin and Daniel Gruett, Rebecca and Andrew Blank, Jeremy Soelle, Kara Sue Burckhardt, and T.J. Roundy Jr; brother, John (Helen) Abbs of Baraboo; sister, Connie Crary of Madison; many friends and other family members.
A memorial service for Bermnadine Abbs was conducted May 6, 1995 at the Farber Funeral Home. Burial followed in Greenwood Cemetery.
