Betty Lee Zwahlen Forbes, 79, of El Dorado, died Thursday, June 27, 2002, at Medical Center of South Arkansas.
Born Oct. 23, 1922, in Nowata, OK, she was the daughter of Christian Lee Zwahlen and Catherine Louisa Pleake Zwahlen.
She was a homemaker and member of Hillsboro Street Church of Christ, the Community Bible Class and the A&B Group.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lindell Gerald Forbes; two brothers, Clifford Paul Zwahlen and Lee C. Zwahlen; and two sisters, Eula Harr and Jeannetta Simpson.
Survivors include two daughters Beth Forbes of El Dorado, and Lynnette Bankstrom of West Memphis; a brother Christie G. Zwahlen of El Dorado; a sister, Virginia Fulton of Montgomery, Ala; and four grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Hillsboro Street Church of Christ with the Rev. Ken Stegall officiating.
Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
The family will be at the Forbes' residence, 1105 W. Seventh in El Dorado, Arkansas
