Betty graduated from the University of Missouri in 1948 with a BS Degree in Education. She was member of Chi Omega Sorority. She and her husband were founding members of Bethel Independent Presbyterian Church in Houston. She was a Godly woman, creating and maintaining her family as the heart of her life. She loved to laugh, treasured her friendships, and dedicated her life to caring for others.
Betty is survived by her sons, J. Carter Noonan II and wife Nancy, and D. Craig Noonan and wife Celeste, grandchildren Jason Noonan, Kristan Noonan Schilling and husband Michael, Jay Noonan and wife Lyndsey and Alyssa Noonan. Great grandchildren Austin and Ashlyn Schilling.
A special thanks to our caregivers whose love and dedication have made such a difference in the quality of life for both mom and dad in the later years: Silda Sorto, Norma Maldonado, Marta Orozco, Nan Dohohoe, Trish Freeze, Virginia Martinez, and Blanca Velasquez. You are the vision of God's love on earth.
Friends are invited to visitation with family from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 7 at the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home at 13001 Katy Freeway. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 8 at 10 AM at Memorial Oaks.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the charity of your choice.
