There is some confusion over the location of his burial. The WVVR death index for his wife notes she is buried in the Hays Cemetery (https://www.findagrave.com/cemetery/2383531/joshua-williamson-family-cemetery). However, in 1999 Gary Patterson visited the Friendly Cemetery and recorded the headstones there, including one for Brewer, Cordelia E. October 10, 1872 to June 18, 1894 wife of Alex, 21y 8m 8d. Since her burial was in the Friendly Cemetery, and her death index was seemingly in error, I'm going to assume that Alex is buried with her in the Friendly Cemetery and the note on his death certificate regarding his burial in the Hays Cemetery is in error.
