"Mrs Harrison Bromley Succumbs to Stroke - Mrs Mary Elizabeth Bromley, aged 68 years, died at the City Hospital at 7 o'clock last evening, following a stroke which she suffered at her home, RD 1, north of the Fair Grounds, at 10 am. She had been failing in health for several years. She was removed to the hospital at 2:30 pm. Mrs Bromley had resided in this vicinity all her life and she had been married three times. She is survived by her husband, Harrison Bromley and the following children by former marriages: John Rowland (sic) [Ruland] and Clarence White, whose whereabouts are not known, Mrs Homer Brown, RD 3, Pleasantville, Mrs Esther Turner of Tidioute and Mrs Fred Antill of Titusville. There are nine grandchildren and one brother, Abram Carson of Pleasantville. The body was taken to the Courtney funeral home to be prepared for interment, and the arrangements for funeral services will be made today."

"Services in memory of Mrs Harrison Bromley were conducted from the Carsonville church at 2 pm, yesterday, preceded by prayer at home, north of the city. Rev E W Mattison of Pleasantville U B church officiated, and two hymns, 'The Everlasting Arm,' and ''Jesus, Blessed, Jesus' were sung by Mr and Mrs Grant Sharp, with Mrs Arthur Carson as accompanist. The interment was made in the Pineville cemetery with the following as pall-bearers: James, Boyd and Arthur Carson, John Burns, John Myers and Floyd Bromley."
