MARY LESLIE HOWARD OGLES, 47, of Memphis, died Friday, December 30, 2005 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. Born January 27, 1958 in Jackson, MS, she spent nearly all her life as a Memphian. She graduated from Briarcrest Christian School in 1977, and attended the University of Mississippi where she studied Education. A devoted mother, loving sister, and caring friend, she was also a faithful employee at Federal Express, serving for more than 20 years at the communications hub of the corporation in Memphis. Above all her outside interests was her son. She loved and served him most faithfully. Surviving are her son, Charles "Chip" Ogles, and her mother, Mary Howard, both of Memphis; two brothers, Turley Howard of Athens, GA, and David Howard of Oakland, CA; a sister, Amy Unruh of Branson, MO, and a brother Jonathan Howard of Albany, CA. The visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Monday, January 2 at Canale Funeral Chapel, with funeral services following at 2 p.m. The burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
