JOSEPH WANIGER

Joseph Waniger, Sr., 72, retired farmer, died Saturday at the home farm, Manitowoc route 4, now operated by his son, William. Death followed a heart attack.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 8:30 from the Pfeffer funeral parlors and at nine o'clock from the St. Joseph's church, Silver Lake, the Rev. Specht officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.

Mr. Waniger was born in Germany on June 6, 1865. He came to America and to Manitowoc county with his parents when he was two years of age. On November 24, 1891, he was married to Theresa Brunner, who survives.

Survivors besides the widow include three daughters, Mrs. Agnes Kaufmann and Mrs. Isadore Simon, both of Manitowoc, and Mrs. William Wolf, Des Plaines, Ill., nine sons, Willliam, at home, and Joseph Jr., Frank, Martin, Leo, Edward, Arthur, Bernard and Adrian, all of Manitowoc; one sister, Mrs. Catherine Vogel, Manitowoc; and 24
grandchildren.
