Oct 15, 1953 - Carroll Daily Times - Alyce M.L. Berger, 46, of San Francisco, Calif., daughter of the late R.C.P. Berger of Carroll, succumbed to a long illness at a hospital in San Francisco Wednesday afternoon.
Miss Berger, a registered nurse, had been ill about a year. The body is being brought to the Huffman Funeral Home here, where arrangements are pending.
Miss Berger, who was born June 12, 1907, at Arcadia, was reared in Arcadia and Carroll. Her mother, Mrs. Dora Paulson Berger, died in 1920. Her father died Sept. 23, 1952. She had lived in San Francisco for 28 years.
Surviving are her step-mother, Mrs. R.C.P. Berger and step-sister Mrs. Ralph J (Lillian) Baumhover, of Carroll. Miss Berger was a member of the Methodist Church.
