Delilah, whose maiden name may have been McIntyre, was married to a Mr. Moxley about
1797 in VA. They had six known children.
They relocated to Fayette County, PA and Mr. Moxley died there about 1817.
Delilah met Daniel Eby, a widower, who had gone from his home in Berlin, Waterloo
County, Ontario, to visit relatives in PA.
They were married in Jan. 1818 in McClellandtown, PA and after moved to his home in
Berlin (name changed to Kitchener in 1917).
The six Moxley children went also - William, Samuel, Elizabeth, Mary, Sarah Ann and Orlando Henry.

Delilah and Daniel (who died on a return trip to PA in Nov. 1820) had a son named
Benjamin B. Eby (1819-1898) who died in Louisville, KY.
Delilah, reportedly a midwife in Waterloo County, remained there until her death.

Erected/ to the memory of/ Delilah Eby/ departed this life June/ 25th 1842 aged 63 years/ and 2 months/ Pass'd a few swiftly fleeting years/ and all that now in bodies live/ shall quit like me the vale of tears/ their righteous sentence to receive
