Death of Mrs. John Borths, Former Kewaunee County Resident at Marinette Monday
The death of Mrs. John Borths ( nee Mary Yunk), a former resident of the town of Lincoln, Wisconsin, but who for some years past has made her home at Marinette, Wisconsin, where her husband is engaged in business, passed away there last Monday morning, at an early hour; death being due to convulsions, with which she was seized late Sunday afternoon.
The deceased, who was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Yunk of the town of Lincoln, and was 35 years, 11 months and 3 days of age at the time of her demise, and leaves to mourn her death a husband and seven children.
In addition to her aged parents and four brothers and four sisters, viz., Mr. and Mrs. Michael Yunk, Sr., Jacob, Math, Michael, Jr., Eclard and Mrs. Minnie Dufek of the town of Lincoln, Mrs. Frank Schneider of Piercetown, Mrs. H. Jorens of Sturgeon Bay and Mrs. James {Gertrude} Duket of Marinette.
The funeral was held at Marinette, Thursday morning. There was a requiem at 9 o'clock at St. Anthony's church, Rev. Emil Seiter being the celebrant, and a large circle of sorrowing friends and relatives being present at the last sad rites.
Deceased was a member of the Marinette lodge of the Modern Brotherhood of America, members of which organization acted as pallbearers and flowerbearers. Interment was made at Forest Home Cemetery.
Among those from this section present at the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Michael Yunk, Sr., parents; Jacob and Math, brothers; and Mr. Mrs. Jorens, the latter a sister residing at Sturgeon Bay.
