Shirley Ann Barnes Barber, 74 years young, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Monday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Dido Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Shirley was born Jan. 3, 1939, in Springtown, but moved to Fort Worth to raise her family. She was the matriarch of her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and mother-in-law. Shirley departed this life too soon. You fought a good fight, Mom. Now you rest in God's Kingdom. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Moore; parents, Claud and Annie Barnes; and brother, Larry Barnes.
