Miss Ruth Hines Donaldson,45, died Thursday in a local hospital after a brief illiness. She the daughter of the late Abner B. Donaldson and Duffie Slade Donaldson. A lifetime resident of Rocky Mount, she was a member of the Alington Street Baptist Church and attended Rocky Mount City Schools. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:30 p.m. from the chapel of Gay-Yost Funeral Home. Dr. Donald E. Cook and the Rev. H.C. Lowder will officiate and burial will be in Pineview Cemetery. She is survived by one brother, William A. Donaldson of Rocky Mount. Friends may call at the home of her brother, 1500 Rosewood Av. Rocky Mount.
