Richard (Dick) Allender

SALEM - Richard died early Monday morning after a short battle with Lung cancer.
Richard was born to Clyde and Anna Allender in Lore City, Ohio.
The family decided to move to Salem, Oregon when he was 11.
Richard graduated from Salem High School in 1955 and then was in the Air Force from 1955 to 1959. While on Active duty he met his future wife, Darla Darby, and they married in 1960.
Preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mary Ella Springer, and brother, David Allender.
