He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and was of the Baptist faith.
Albert is survived by his wife Corlyn "Lyn" Alice, nee Biever, the daughter of the late Al Biever and the late Helen Corlyn, nee Flett. He is also survived by his mother, Minnie Anderson of East Brainerd; one son, Casey Anderson; one daughter, Jenifer Anderson, both of Harrison; two stepsons, Brett Simpson of Harrison and Robby Simpson of Cleveland; two brothers, James Anderson of Harrison and Edward Anderson of East Brainerd; one stepbrother, Richard Mayfield, Douglasville, Ga. and one stepsister, Glenda Fields, Chattanooga; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was a truck driver, with the handle of "Medicine Man", who drove for Shaw Industries and was a member of the Chattanooga Rifle Club. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Highway 58 chapel of Turner Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Mason officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in New McDonald Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Erlanger Cancer Center.
