Phyllis Ercanbrack
Our precious mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away on May 3, 2013, following a long struggle with Alzheimer's. She was the fourth child of Howard Leland Teeples and Myrtle Taft Teeples. She was born April 11, 1941 in Bicknell, Utah. She married Dolan J. DeLeeuw in 1958, later divorced. She married Weldon Morris Ercanbrack December 20, 1986 in the Provo Temple.
Phyllis was a beautiful person inside and out. She was a kind, loving, peacemaker who never put herself first. She lived her life by the first commandment; she loved her Father in Heaven and His son Jesus Christ. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. She held many callings in the Church and was always faithful and dedicated. She excelled in homemaking. She loved her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling the world with Morris.
She is survived by her children, Linda (Ray) Brown, David (Becky) DeLeeuw, Russell (Heidi) DeLeeuw, Rex (Kathy) DeLeeuw. Her stepchildren, DeeAnn (Scott) Thaxton, Randall (Tanya) Ercanbrack, Gaylen (Kathy) Ercanbrack, Neal (Cliss) Ercanbrack, Sheldon (Monica) Ercanbrack. Two sisters Myrna (Dean) Behunin, Shirley (Carl) Shepherd, two sisters-in-law, LuDean Teeples and Shirlee Teeples. She was preceded in death by her husband Morris and her parents, her two brothers, Leland Taft Teeples, Eldon Taft Teeples.
Funeral services will be held, Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 11:00, at the Sundberg Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State St., Orem, Utah. A visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff at Courtyard at Jamestown for their loving care and consideration of Phyllis. Burial at the Orem City Cemetery.
