He was born February 4, 1927 in Oneonta, NY, son of Mark and Leila (Knapp) Finch. He died May 2, 2013 in Lecanto, FL. Mr. Finch was a Navy veteran serving during World War II. He worked as a service representative for NY State Electric and Gas and moved to Beverly Hills, Florida from Mohawk, NY in 1991. Mr. Finch was a member of the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and was a volunteer driver for Skill Bank, Beverly Hills. Mr. Finch was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 65 years, Audrey A. Finch, 2 brothers, Stanton Finch, Martin Finch, and sister, Florabell Brooks.
Survivors include daughter, Gloria (John) Clark of Beverly Hills, FL, sister, Natalie Horth of Oneonta, NY, 3 sisters-in-law, Alice Taylor, Anita Baird and Arlene Bunting and numerous nieces and nephews. CC Chronicle 5/4/13
