Note: There is a discrepancy in the date of birth for Hattie Rhodes. Her death certificate lists April 6, 1879 but her twin brother's (George Shaw Rhodes) WWI draft registration has date of birth as April 29, 1879. Hattie's place of birth is reported as Butler County, PA on her marriage certificate the Lynn William Case. Still trying to sort this out.

Hattie was born in April 1879 to Frank Rhodes and Annie M.(Shaw) Rhodes. She was a sister to (Twin) George Shaw Rhodes and Ewing Brumfield Rhodes; half-sister to Sarah C. (Pierce) Stanford and Robert Edwin Pierce. Hattie's family was living in Tyler, West Virginia by 1897, where she married Lynn William Case on July 14, 1897.

Hattie and Lynn had 8 known children - the first 6 were born in West Virginia and the last 2 were born in Wooster, Ohio. By 1930, Hattie was living in Springfield, Clark, Ohio where she resided until her death on December 9, 1941. Children:

Frank G. Case
Mae Loretta Case
Victor H. Case
Ruth Virginia Case
Arthur Lynn Case (Mayo)
Gerald L. (Pete) Case
Robert (Bob) Emerson Case

(also a stillborn baby born in West Virginia on 7 June 1908).

Hattie Belle (Rhodes) Case was a nurse.

Hattie is buried in the Wooster Cemetery, next to her daughter Ruth Virginia Case. (NO MARKERS, but you can find the plots on the cemetery map and go from there)

New information is welcome.
