Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Gable Funeral Home for Henry Frank Bailey, 1323 NE 118th Ave., who died Sunday at a Portland hospital, a little over a week before his 91st birthday, Aug. 8.
Born in Jackson County, Ore., Mr. Bailey came to Portland in 1918. For about 20 years he had his own shoe repair shop at NE 59th Avenue and Halsey Street. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his widow, Elma Josephine (Josie); daughters Mrs. V. Fern Phillips and Mrs. Revella J. Stalker; sons Arthur, Harold, and Arnold; eight grandchildren; and 17 great- grandchildren; all of Portland.
Burial will be at Lincoln Memorial.
