John Dietert, 72, business owner, architect in area. Services for John F. Dietert, 72, of El Cajon, will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Greenwood mortuary. Entombment will be in Greenwood Mausoleum. He died Friday in a hospital. Mr. Dietert, an architect, was a native of El Paso, Texas, and lived in the county 46 years. He was responsible for many commercial developments and mobile-home parks here and in Mexico and was owner of El Cajon Blueprint from 1946 to 1985. He was a member of the El Cajon Lions Club, Elks Lodge 1812, the El Cajon Valley Chamber of Commerce, the FCC Club and the San Diego Historical Society. He was a past president of the Bostonia Lions Club, a former bulletin editor of the El Cajon Valley Lions Club and a past director of the Mother Goose Parade. Survivors include his wife, Virginia, a half-brother, Walter Barber, Sr. of La Mesa; and a step-sister, Josephine Matthews of Bay Village, Ohio. The family suggested donations to the American Cancer Society.
