BATAVIA - Lucille Acomb, 82, of Batavia, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005, at the Genesee County Nursing Home.

Lucille was born Dec. 28, 1922, in Ogden, a daughter of the late Fred and Helen Puffer Richardson. Her husband Lewis Acomb died in 1980.

Surviving are her daughter, Margaret 'Marge' (Frank) Mager of Alexander; her daughter-in-law Barbara Acomb of Batavia; her sister, Dorothy Fultman of Bergen; five grandchildren: Cheryl (Walter) Hersom, Christine Mager and Mary, James and Katie Acomb; three great-grandchildren: Annaliese, Hope and Frank Hersom; and nieces and nephews.

Lucille was the mother of Clarence Acomb who died May 31, 2000, and sister of the late Ben Richardson.

Friends called 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main St., Batavia, where services were held at 11 a.m. Monday. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery.
