Juanita Jo Meeker, age 67, died Sunday May 5, 2013 at the Sikeston Convalescent Center in Sikeston.
Born October 21, 1945, in Sikeston, daughter of the late Vernon and Wanda (Nimmo) Tippy, she was a Registered Nurse at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, David & Kim Meeker of Sikeston and Chris & Ruthie Meeker of Morley; two brothers, Randy Tippy of Sikeston and Danny Tippy of Morehouse; three sisters, Patricia Robison, Vernell Gaddis and Theresa Wolverton all of Sikeston; nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Tony Eugene Meeker; one daughter, Lisa Lynn Meeker; and one brother, Roger Tippy.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 7, from 5:00 p.m. until time of services at 7:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home. Rev. Tom McCanless will be officiating.
