Elizabeth Marie Parker, 90, passed away May 4, 2013 in Raton. She was born Aug. 9, 1922, in Elizabeth Town. She married Fred Parker Sr. Oct. 14, 1940, in Cimarron, a union that lasted 72 years.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents; grandson Jed Young; son-in-law Butch Young; two sisters and one brother.

Elizabeth is survived by husband Fred Parker Sr.; one daughter, Ruth Anne Young; sons Fred Jr. (Susie) Parker, Leo (Donna) Parker, and David (Kathy) Parker, all of Raton; seven grandchildren, Debra Montoya, Tammy Case, Sam Young, Dennis Parker, Becky Walker, Matthew Parker and Seth Parker; six great grandchildren, Eric Montoya, Tyler Case, Ryan Montoya, Tanner Caser, Reese Parker and Rylie Parker. Numerous relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, May 8, at the First Baptist Church at 10 a.m. with Pastor Ed Buerkle officiating. Burial to follow at the Fairmont Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the Direction of the Alderette Pomeroy Funeral Home of Raton.
