Linda Louise Rhone died on May 1, 2003. She was born February 27, 1950 to Florence and Glendon Wright of Bremerton Washington. She graduated from West High School in Bremerton in 1968 and attended Washington State University in Ellensburg. Lin married Christopher Rhone on December 22, 1973, in Bremerton. Lin enjoyed machine knitting, quilting and crafts. She was well known by all her friends as very talented in these areas and often spent many hours helping others get started. Lin worked various jobs in Antarctica. She was a shuttle bus driver, worked in housing, and worked in the mail room and as a courier. Lin loved the Antarctic and saw great beauty there. Inurnment was at Miller Woodlawn in Bremerton, Wa but a portion of her ashes will be scattered on Mount Rhone in Antarctica.
