Fred K. Peters, Jr. Mr. Fred K. "Freddie" Peters, Jr., age 60, of Ozark, died Friday evening, April 15, 2011, at his home. Funeral services will be 10:30 A. M. Tuesday, April 19, 2011, from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Reverend William Hart and Reverend Jim Peters officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. His body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time on Tuesday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Mr. Peters was born April 30, 1950 to the late Fred K. Peters, Sr. and Inez Carroll Peters. He lived all his life in the Ozark area. He made his living from the land he loved. Music was a big part of Freddie's life, not just the playing but also the friends he enjoyed it with. Freddie was dearly loved by his family and the community and will be greatly missed. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Carol Peters; and two sisters, Melba Hollis and Doris Matthews. He is survived by four children, Denise Hart and husband, David Hart of Bunnlevel, North Carolina, Shanon Bogue and husband, David Bogue of Clarion Pennsylvania, Emmie Carter and husband, Jarrett Carter of Headland, and Kameron Peters and wife, Elizabeth Jayne Peters of Dothan; one brother, Howard Peters; four sisters, Nina Jo Daya, Christine Pasch, Martha Jane Shoemaker, and Betty Ruth Owens.
