Marie Quitter, 89, of Ft. Thomas, died Thursday at St. Luke Hospital East. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Therese Altar Society, Legion of Mary, Campbell County Democratic Womens Club and Ft. Thomas Womens Club. Survivors include her husband, Frank A. Quitter Sr.; daughters, Catherine Downing of Latonia, Dorothy Newman of Ft. Thomas and Mary Hayes of Newport; sons, Frank A. Quitter II of Silver Grove, Albert H. Quitter of Ft. Thomas and Richard A. Quitter of Southgate; 21 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Therese Church, Southgate. Prayers will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Ft. Thomas. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Ft. Thomas.
