Dr. Eugene Abercrombie, age 79, 3500 Tipton Station Road, died Sunday morning at St. Mary's Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Church Street United Methodist Church, American Medical Association, Knoxville Academy of Medicine and East Tennessee Radiological Society. Survivors: Mrs. Barbara Barineau, two grandchildren, all of Knoxville; brothers, Raymond Abercrombie, Greenville, SC, Jeru Abercrombie, Honea Path, SC; niece, Mrs. Mildred Grimball at Greenville, S.C. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
