Virgie Inez Smith Medbourn was the daughter of James Marion Owen Smith and Zora Mae Wingo. She was married to Fredrick Samuel Medbourn April 17, 1939 in Corinth Mississippi. They had 6 children. They lived most of their married life in Indiana. Three of their children have passed away. The oldest Helen Sue Medbourn Henry, Fourth child Connie Ruth Medbourn Eckart, and the youngest Eldon Leon Medbourn. Inez was a good southern cook, she made wonderful homemade biscuits and grew the best tomatoes. I loved to hear her laugh. She was a wonderful Grandma.
