Obituary
Lois Ann (Pierson) Parker was born in Lansing, Michigan on August 21, 1933 and died in Lake Havasu, Arizona on July 20, 2012.
She was loved by her 4 siblings, 10 children, 26 grand-children, 40 great-grandchildren, even one great great-grand child and countless friends and extended family. She was a strong and very independent woman who gave all of herself to help her family and friends.
She lost her battle with myeloma (blood cancer) at the age of 78. She attended Eastern High School in Lansing, Michigan. She married Robert Earl Parker at the age of 17. After raising 10 children, she went back to school to get her GED, then studied to become a Computer Programmer in D Base 3 and C++, and even gained Top Secret government clearance as a military contractor. She spent her retirement years helping family members raise their children and ultimately resided in a retirement community in Bullhead City, Arizona.
Services will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at St. Ann's Parish, 218 "D" Street in Needles, California at 9:15am. Another memorial service and burial will follow in Lansing, Michigan at a place, date, and time to be announced. Friends and family are welcome to attend. Donations, in lieu of flowers, are being accepted in her honor at the Polidori House at 1970 Bahama Avenue, Lake Havasu City, Arizona 86403 (928) 854-6232.
