SHELBURNE, VT. - Agnes Luella (Machia) Stannard, 93, of Shelburne, died on Wednesday, March 2nd 2005 at the Vermont Respite House in Williston, Vt.
She was born on March 4th 1911 in Sheldon Springs, Vt., the daughter of the late Frederic J. and Mary Ellen (Spears) Machia.
Agnes was a graduate of St. Anne's Acadey in Swanton, Vt., and Burlington Business College.
She was married in Burlington, Vermont on August 16th 1941 to Augustus T. Stannard. He predeceased her on May 11th 1990.
She was employed for many years at Green Mountain Power.
She was predeceased by a brother, Frederic L. Machia; and a sister, Rachel (Machia) Oliver.
Arrangements were by the Ready Funeral Home and Cremation Service South Chapel on 261 Shelburne Road in Burlington, Vt.
Burial followed at the Resurrection Park Cemetery in South Burlington, Vt.
