Calvin Stephenson (1782-1850) was the son of Calvin (Revolutionary War Veteran) and Roxanna Russell Stephenson. He was born and raised in Springfield, Hampden, Massachusetts.
The family started moving to Ontario, New York around 1800. Calvin married Lucy M Benton, daughter of Bethel (Revolutionary War Veteran) and Esther Saddler Benton, abt 1805 and settled in Phelps, Ontario, New York.
He was in the militia of Phelps and fought in the War of 1812.
On 1 Apr 1837 His wife, Lucy, was the Patentee for 40 acres of land in Nankin, Wayne Co, MI. They proceeded to move and were listed in the census for Nankin on 15 Jul 1840.
His death was due to Typhoid fever.
