William R. Bieghler, 83, of Huntington, IN, died Monday, Oct. 24, 2011, at 10:40 p.m. at Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester.
Mr. Bieghler graduated in 1946 from Huntington Township High School. He retired from First National Bank, Huntington, after 38 years of service. After retirement, he worked at Norwood Golf Club. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Elks, Trinity United Methodist Church, Kiwanis and Amity Lodge F.&A.M., all in Huntington.
He was born April 9, 1928, in Huntington to Rollie and Coral Bright Bieghler. He married Mary A. Richard on Aug. 7, 1949, in Huntington. His wife survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Steve K. (Carrie) Bieghler, of Pomona, CA; two brothers, Ralph Bieghler, of Huntington, and Richard Bieghler, of Cromwell; and two granddaughters, Laura Bieghler Heuninick and Emily Bieghler, both of California.
