Beatrice E. Melbert WRIGHTSVILLE Beatrice E. Melbert, 92, died Monday, February 7, 2005, at 3 p.m. at St. Anne's Retirement Community. She was the wife of the late William C. Melbert.
Born October 28, 1912, in Wrightsville, daughter of the late Peter D. and Minnie M. (Gohn) Blessing.

She retired in 1980 as a floor supervisor from the former Hellam Frocks Co. Mrs. Melbert was a lifelong member of Grace United Methodist Church of Wrightsville. She was a former member of the Abel-Poff-Leithiser American Legion Post 469 Auxiliary and the former Wrightsville Lioness Club.

She is survived by a son, William C. Melbert, Jr. of Columbia; two daughters, Janine D. King and Jacqueline M. Miller, both of Wrightsville; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Etzweiler Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Service, 700 Hellam St., Wrightsville.

Her pastor, the Rev. W. Keith Rockwell will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 404 Hellam St., Wrightsville, PA 17368. www.etzweiler.com
