Bertha Wilhemina Kingsley, daughter of August and Carolina Demaske, was born February 1881 in the township of Summit, Wisconsin, and died in Madison hospital on November 29, 1948, being 67 years, 9 months, and 26 days old. On Novenmber 25, 1907, she was married to William Schutte of Wonewoc. To this union were born two children: Harold, who died at the age of 6 months and Leona, Mrs Pikel, of Wisconsin Dells. On May 22, 1911, her husband passed away and in March 1919 she was married to Sumner Kingsley of Lake Delton. To this union there were also born two children: Ira, living at home and Evelyn, Mrs Donald Pagel, of Wisconsin Dells. Mrs. Kingsley spent most of her life in the town of Summit and of late had been the victim of failing health. Besides the above mentioned, she also leaves to mourn her departure her husband Sumner Kingsley, six grand children, two sisters, Mrs Eli Kingsley of Wonewoc and Mrs Harve Anderson of LaValle: one brother Charles Demaske of Wonewoc and several nieces and nephews besides a host of friends.
