The funeral for David Dennis Allen, 55, of 1840 Carriage Lane, Apt. 1247, Charleston, and 2732 Five Chop Road, Orangeburg, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011, at Four Holes Baptist Church in Orangeburg, with the Rev. Tom McElhaney officiating.
Mr. Allen died Saturday, Dec. 17, at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
He was born Feb. 1, 1956, in Washington, D.C., the son of Mable Elodia Bochette Allen and the late Leonard Allen. He was former owner of Liberty Cafe in Charleston for 14 years.
Survivors include his wife, Diana Smith Allen of Charleston; his mother, Mable Elodia Bochette Allen of Orangeburg; a son, Steven and Jessica Doboszenski of Charleston; two daughters, Jean and Edward Peck of Denver, N.C., and Stacy Bagley of Charleston; six grandchildren; and a sister, Linda and Larry Elliott of Ellicott City, Md.
