(There seems to be errors on this stone, the dates of birth and death are for his father, but the stone has the name as George A. Bolton Jr. WWII, the father would have been too old to serve in WWII, not sure the problem).

George Bolton was killed in a car accident, also killed was Beatrice Carter Essick, and daughter Linda was seriously injured.
Bolton's body will remain at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home until the hour of the services.
In addition to the injured daughter, he is survived by his wife, the former Lois McClamrock of the home; another daughter, Patricia Ann of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Lucille Wright, Mrs. Margaret Capps and Mrs. Ruth Hobbs, all of Greensboro; three brothers, John, Floyd and Clarence Bolton, all of Greensboro; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Bolton Sr., of Greensboro.
Mrs. Essick is survied by her husband, Airman Third Class Clifford F. Essick, stationed at Lowry Air Force Base, Denver, Colo. he is flying here today.
Funeral for Bolton will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hanes-Lineberry Chapel with Rev. Robert McCluskey, pastor of First Pilgrim Holiness Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
