John Ephraim Bugg [is] maybe [Annis Tucker and Benjamin Bugg's] second son. He traveled to California during a time when California was experiencing new and exciting things. That's where he met a Native American woman named Sally. She was my gr gr grandmother. I am a descendant of Benjamin and Annis and John Ephraim and Sally. They had one daughter named Lillian Bugg. This Lillian was his first daughter. He also had another daughter with Mary Cramer he named Lillian also many years later when he married Mary. This has been confirmed by my 3rd cousin who also has done the DNA and she has first hand knowledge from her grandmother, who, was the child of the first Lillian Bugg. California had not yet become a state of the union so very little documentation is found. My maternal ancestors are all from the Sierra's of California... I'm also in the DNA circle with other Bugg descendants this is where I come from.... My Lillian Bugg married Tom Harris. They had 4 children, Dan, Rosa, Mae and Hazel and all of those people had children too. They were also born in O'Neals in California and have since scattered about.
