John was a enlisted man during the Revolutionary War Veteran serving under Duryea's Company 1st Battalion @ Somerset, New Jersey.
After the war he was a Tavern Owner in 1780, 1783-1788. He sold out & moved to Cherry Valley, Otsego County, NY in May 1788.
His Will Recorded & dated 2/21/1810 & probated 3/12/1810 @ Otsego County Surrogate Court, pages 271-273, also pages 269-271. Seal published & declared witnesses: John Person, Peter Low & Joseph Brown. Executor was Sarah, his wife.
