Thomas F. Reese
CHATFIELD, Minn. (Special)- Thomas F. Reese, 70, retired butter maker and one-time city alderman here, died Sunday evening at the Stewartville, Minn., Rest Home, where he had been living the last three months.

Born April 17, 1882, in Illinois, Reese was married June 5, 1909, to Gusta Knudson at Amhurst, Minn. Employed at the Chatfield Co-operative Creamery for many years and a member of the Masonic Lodge, here, Reese was prominent in Chatfield civic affairs. Ill health forced his retirement.

Surviving are two sons, Orville, Chatfield; Pvt. William C. Reese, now in Korea; four sisters, Mrs. Lyle Wyman, Mont. Nebo, Saskatchewan, Canada; Mrs. Albert Bullock, Olwein, Ia.; Mrs. Fred Goldenberry, Fairfax, Ia., and Mrs. Archie Farahan, Los Angeles, Calif.; and four grandchildren. His wife preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Boetzer Funeral Home, the Rev. William K. Benbow officiating. Burial will be in the Chatfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Tuesday.
