Ernest Lee Aguayo, 99, went home to be with the Lord on October 24,
2007 after a brief stay at Mesilla Valley Hospice. Born September 24,
1908 to Aristole “Harry and Edith Aguayo in Lincoln , New Mexico
Territory, the fourth of 13 children. He was preceded in death by his wife of
56 years, Jewel Smith Aguayo.

Ernest was survived by daughters June Hagerlin (Edward) of Las Cruces ,
Connee Elliott (Les) of Overton, Nevada . Grandchildren Nancy Corn,
Justina Dawkins (Butch), Steve Moore (Cheryl) and Jeff Moore (Darlene)
and great-grandchildren Justin Barker (Angie), Matthew Dawkins, Ian
Moore, and Jewyl Moore, brothers Jack, Herbert and Donis Aguayo and sister
Lorriane Brimberry.

Ernest lived in New Mexico his entire life and resided in the Mesilla
Valley since 1958. He was a long time member of the Panlenier Church of
Christ.

Graveside service were held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetary.

Services were entrusted to the care of La Paz - Graham's Funeral Home.
